First Lady Janett was born in the parish of Clarendon, Jamaica, West Indies. She migrated to Canada in her early teens. Sister Janett, as she is affectionately called, accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour in 1995 under the Leadership of Bishop Delton & First Lady Gladys Fraser. She has been involved in Christian ministry ever since. She now serves alongside her husband, Bishop Ransford Jones at Destiny Gospel Centre. She is extremely enthusiastic about her role as President of Daughters of Destiny, the Women’s Ministry of Destiny Gospel Centre. This role she takes on with zeal and enthusiasm. She is a dedicated and committed woman of God with a generous heart, she gives of herself spiritually and financially at all times. She is known as a true worshipper and a prayer warrior – always seeking God on behalf of the members of this local church, the visitors and the community at large – always seeking ways to spread the good news of Jesus Christ and to win souls for the Kingdom. She is loved and respected in Christian community.
First Lady and her husband Pastor Ransford Jones are proud parents of two beautiful children, Jessica and Jude.
